The highlight of Father Rodríguez’s tour was his October 21 address to a standing-room-only audience at the Capitol Hill Club, a luncheon and lecture organized by the TFPs’ Washington Bureau. Father Rodríguez presented peace as an ideal of strong, unselfish Christians, not as the fantasy of the weak, naïve, and unbelieving.
