Colonel John Ripley USMC: Col. John Ripley, USMC, recounts his heroic feat destroying the Dong Ha bridge in Vietnam. Fatigued and undernourished, he had recourse to praying to Jesus and Mary giving him the strength he needed to complete his task. His description of how he received the supernatural grace is most inspiring. As Prof. Plinio Correa de Oliveira, a Brazilian Catholic leader, commented on hearing this epic feat, it was an event of Biblical proportion.
